The Overall Objectives of this course is to

Cover the principle and application of molecular techniques and genetics in the clinical laboratories

Introduce the student to hands on laboratory and diagnostic skills

Enable students to understand and appreciate the significance of reliable and meaningful results

Identify types of errors and implement quality procedures by using high end laboratory equipment

Enhance the diagnostic skills for the students to achieve high level of research abilities and understanding the importance of referencing and literature search with practical knowledge
