Profile
Dr. Hani Alhadrami received his BSc in Medical Technology and his master and PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. He was a visiting assisting professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. His research contributions have been focused in the development of aptamer based microfluidic electrochemical biosensor for continuous monitoring of heart-on-a-chip. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor of Medical Biotechnology at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He is a research fellow at the Center of Excellence in Genomic Medicine Research and the Center of Innovation in Personalized Medicine at King Abdulaziz University. He is also leading the research group of Medical Nanobiotechnology at King Abdulaziz University. Dr. Alhadrami has enough experience in the development, characterization, and optimization of several bioluminescence based biosensors for mutagenicity, carcinogenicity and toxicity assessments. His area of expertise involves medical applications of Biosensors, Microfluidics, Lab-on-a-chip, developing nanoparticles with antibacterial activity to treat pathogenic bacteria, and using nanoparticles as a delivery system to deliver tumour suppressor proteins and drugs for cancer treatment. Dr. Alhadrami has several publications in international peer-reviewed journals (for further details and research collaboration, please refer to the CV of Dr. Hani Alhadrami).

Research Interests
My research interest involves the development and applications of biosensors for mutagenicity and carcinogenicity assessments. More specifically, I am keen to construct biosensors and use them in several medical, diagnostic and pharmaceutical applications. I am also interested in using the state of art of nanotechnology and lab-on-a chip technology to construct my biosensors. I welcome any sort of research collaboration Worldwide, and I am glade to share writing research grant either in Saudi Arabia our Worldwide.
